As we all know, the commonly used LED wall washers in lighting projects include high-voltage 220V and low-voltage 24V. People will find high-pressure wall washers easy to install. The low-voltage installation is more troublesome. But in addition to the installation differences just mentioned, what are the differences between the 220V wall washer and the 24V one?
The first is the lamp type, that is, the size of the lamps is different. Nowadays, most low-voltage wall washers basically adopt the integrated board-drive solution, and the lamp type is small and exquisite. The 220V high-pressure wall washer, because it must use a board-driven isolation scheme, usually uses an external drive or a built-in drive, while the built-in wall washer has a significantly larger lamp size, while the external drive is used. The wall washer has an external power box fixed at the bottom of the housing.

Secondly, the distance between the lamps in series is also different. The 24V wall washer is usually connected in series with a distance of 3-8 meters due to its large current; while the 220V high-pressure wall washer can be connected in series to 20 meters.
The materials required for the installation of the last two are also different. The 24V outdoor wall washer must be converted to the mains through a transformer or switching power supply before it can be connected to the lamp. The 220V high-pressure wall washer can be directly connected to the mains 220V, and it can work normally.
Nowadays, with the deepening of people's understanding of LED wall washer, the later maintenance of high-voltage 220V wall washer is difficult, and the disadvantages of high safety risk are also highlighted. More and more lighting projects tend to use 24V low-voltage wall washer lamp.
