Underwater lighting projects often use a large number of LED underwater lights or fountain lights, and most of them are 12V or 24V. Why did the underwater lighting project not use 220V high-pressure underwater lights?

As we all know, high-voltage electricity can cause serious harm to people's bodies. Failure to rescue in time after electric shock may endanger people's lives. Because underwater lights are mostly used in park pools, scenic lakes, artificial rivers and other places where the number of tourists is relatively dense. Lamps and wires are installed in a fully immersed way. Once there is leakage of lamps or broken wires, it will pose a great threat to the safety of tourists.

FOUNTAIN LIGHT

In recent years, news of accidents caused by leakage of LED underwater lights have also been reported frequently. Therefore, when carrying out waterscape lighting projects, the electricity safety of led underwater lights is the primary task to be considered by engineering companies and manufacturers. The working voltage of common low-voltage underwater lights is 12V and 24V, and the safe voltage of the human body is below 36V. Even if there is leakage, it will not cause any harm to the human body. And compared with high-voltage underwater lights, low-voltage 12V, 24V underwater lighting is easier to maintain.

Low-voltage underwater lights are better than high-pressure underwater lights in terms of electricity safety and later maintenance costs for waterscape lighting projects. Therefore, the current LED underwater lights basically do not use the 220V high-voltage solution.
